US is a short documentary created for Lancashire County Council to mark Refugee Week.

Inspired by its title from Ola, a Syrian refugee living in Lancashire, the film explores what it means to rebuild a life in the UK after being forced to leave home, family, and familiarity behind. Rather than focusing on the trauma that led them to flee, the refugees share their personal journeys of adjustment, resilience, and discovery as they begin new lives in Lancashire.
